Introduction

N09935 nickel alloy round bar
N09935 Nickel Alloy Round Bar

UNS N09935 (trade name: AF935) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum CRA superalloy. It is a higher-molybdenum, niobium-bearing derivative of Alloy 925 (N09925), specifically engineered for HPHT sour-service downhole environments containing H₂S, CO₂, and chlorides. Age hardening delivers a minimum yield strength of 110 ksi (758 MPa). The alloy is fully qualified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for resistance to SSC and SCC. Primary industries: oil & gas production, chemical processing, and marine/offshore engineering.

Applications

Oil & Gas Downhole: Production tubing, wellhead components, tubing hangers, production packers, safety valves, mandrels, subsea flowline connectors, HPHT completion hardware, downhole tools.

Chemical & Refining: Process valves, heat exchanger tubes, reactor internals, piping handling mineral acids (H₂SO₄, HCl, H₃PO₄) and high-chloride media.

Marine/Offshore: Subsea tree bodies, riser components, umbilical terminations, subsea connector assemblies.
