Project Description

1. Introduction

9CrMo1 (UNS K90941) is a ferritic Cr-Mo alloy steel with ~9 % Cr and ~1 % Mo. It delivers superior high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance to 650 °C, and excellent creep resistance. Primary markets are power generation (boiler and steam systems) and petrochemical refining (high-pressure, high-temperature process piping).

Catalytic cracker transfer lines, hydrocracker piping, furnace radiant tubes, heat exchanger shells & bundles, high-pressure reactor nozzles, valve bodies, flanges.
