N07716 Alloy 716 Inconel 716 Nickel-Based Superalloy Bar – API 6A Oil & Gas Grade | SHUNFU METAL Manufacturer

Premium Quality N07716 Forged & Rolled Round Bars | Direct Factory Supply | Bulk Orders Welcome

Introduction to N07716 Nickel-Based Superalloy

N07716, also known as Alloy 716 or Inconel 716, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy specifically engineered for extreme service conditions in the oil and gas industry. This advanced nickel-based alloy combines exceptional strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, and excellent thermal stability, making it the material of choice for critical wellhead and drilling equipment operating in the most demanding environments.

As a professional manufacturer of nickel alloy products, SHUNFU METAL specializes in producing high-quality N07716 forged round bars and rolled round bars that fully comply with API 6A specifications. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and rigorous quality control processes ensure that every piece of N07716 material meets the stringent requirements of international petroleum industry standards.

The N07716 alloy features a carefully balanced chemical composition with approximately 59-63% nickel, 19-22% chromium, and 7-9.5% molybdenum, along with precise additions of niobium and titanium for precipitation hardening. This unique metallurgical design provides the alloy with superior resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in sour gas environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).

Applications of N07716 Alloy

N07716 nickel-based superalloy is extensively utilized across various critical applications in the petroleum and natural gas industry. The exceptional combination of high strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability makes this alloy indispensable for components that must perform reliably under extreme pressures, temperatures, and corrosive conditions.

Primary Application Areas

Wellhead Equipment

Valve bodies, bonnets, stems, and seats for Christmas trees and wellhead assemblies operating in high-pressure sour gas environments.

Downhole Tools

Hangers, packers, safety valves, and completion equipment designed for deep well drilling in corrosive formations.

Subsea Components

Connectors, fasteners, and structural components for subsea production systems exposed to seawater and H₂S.
