This high-performance alloy features an optimal balance of approximately 50% austenite and 50% ferrite in its microstructure, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. With a well-balanced chemical composition including 21.0-23.0% chromium, 4.5-6.5% nickel, and 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, F51 (1.4462) delivers superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion compared to conventional austenitic stainless steels.
