Heat Treatment Procedures for N07725
Proper heat treatment is critical to achieving the optimal combination of strength and corrosion resistance in N07725. The age hardening treatment for N07725 120K grade follows a specific two-step process per API 6ACRA:
Step 1: Initial Aging
Temperature: 1325°F – 1425°F (718°C – 774°C)

Cooling: Furnace cool to Step 2 temperature
Step 2: Final Aging
Temperature: 1125°F – 1275°F (607°C – 691°C)
Duration: 12 hours minimum total aging time
Cooling: Air cool to room temperature
