Project Description
N07718 (Inconel 718) Nickel-Based Superalloy
UNS N07718 | High-Temperature Corrosion Resistant Alloy | Premium Quality from SHUNFU METAL
Introduction to N07718 Nickel Superalloy
N07718, commercially known as Inconel 718, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy that has become the industry standard for high-performance applications requiring exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. As a leading manufacturer of specialty alloys, SHUNFU METAL offers this premium superalloy in various product forms to meet the demanding requirements of aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, and chemical processing industries.
This nickel-based superalloy contains approximately 50-55% nickel, 17-21% chromium, and significant additions of niobium, molybdenum, and titanium. The unique combination of these alloying elements provides N07718 with outstanding mechanical properties at temperatures ranging from cryogenic levels up to 704°C (1300°F). The alloy derives its exceptional strength primarily from the precipitation of gamma double prime (γ″) phase, which is a body-centered tetragonal Ni₃Nb compound.
At SHUNFU METAL, we manufacture N07718 using advanced melting processes including Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM), Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR), and Electroslag Remelting (ESR) to ensure the highest purity and homogeneous microstructure. Our state-of-the-art facilities and rigorous quality control systems guarantee that every product meets or exceeds international specifications. We welcome bulk orders and offer competitive pricing for large volume purchases.
Key Features of N07718
